Dana Erikson is Executive Vice President, Portfolio Analytics for Cap Six. In this role, he is responsible for strategic oversight of portfolio performance and positioning, and for advancing the firm’s technology and analytics across asset classes.

Prior to joining Cap Six, Dana was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Brookfield Asset Management, where he managed $1.5 billion in fixed income strategies.  He led an eight-person investment team, spearheaded data analytics initiatives, and collaborated on multi-asset strategies across public and private investments.

Previously, at Evergreen Investments, Dana was the lead Portfolio Manager for $5 billion in high-yield and leveraged loan strategies. He was a key member of the portfolio management team that more than tripled assets under management. Earlier in his career, Dana managed one of the first actively managed CLOs, deploying over $1 billion in syndicated loans during the four-year reinvestment period. He began his career in investment banking and consulting.

Dana holds an MBA, with honors, from Northeastern University, a BA in Economics from Brown University and is a CFA charterholder.
