Dana Erikson Joins Cap Six as EVP, Portfolio Analytics
Cap Six Advisors today announced the appointment of Dana Erikson as Executive Vice President, Portfolio Analytics. In this role, Erikson will provide strategic oversight of portfolio performance and positioning, with a focus on attribution analysis, cross-portfolio monitoring, and targeted research to enhance the firm’s proprietary data models. He will also play a critical role in driving the continued development of Cap Six’s technology and analytics across asset classes.
“Dana brings a unique blend of portfolio management experience and technical expertise.” said Jeff Jorgensen, Chief Investment Officer of Cap Six. “His background in credit, multi-asset strategies, and performance analytics will be instrumental as we expand our SMA platform and continue delivering transparent, data-driven solutions for our clients.” Prior to joining Cap Six, Erikson was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Brookfield Asset Management, where he managed $1.5 billion in fixed income strategies. He led an eight-person investment team, spearheaded data analytics initiatives, and collaborated on multi-asset strategies spanning public and private investments.
Previously, at Evergreen Investments, Erikson was the lead Portfolio Manager for $5 billion in high-yield and leveraged loan strategies. He played a key role in helping the team more than triple assets under management and earlier in his career managed one of the first actively managed CLOs, deploying over $1 billion in syndicated loans during a four-year reinvestment period. He began his career in investment banking and consulting. Erikson holds an MBA, with honors, from Northeastern University, a BA in Economics from Brown University, and is a CFA charterholder.
